H?ill Day 2023 will be held:

Delaware's local leaders (town, city, and county officials) are invited to attend Hill Day 2023 in Washington D.C. ! Traditionally, Hill Day is planned in conjunction with the National League of Cities' (NLC) Congressional Cities Conference March 26-28 in Washington, D.C. at the Marriott Marquis. This year, Hill Day is planned on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Hill Day is FREE to DLLG and SCAT members and provides an opportunity for Delaware's local leaders to meet directly with Delaware's Congressional Delegation to discuss federal issues, legislative priorities, and other matters impacting Delaware's local governments.

While NLC offers Hill Day scheduling for conference registrants who are interested, the Delaware League of Local Governments (DLLG) will be managing all Congressional delegation meetings this year. Please complete this Eventbrite registration to meet with Delaware's Congressional Delegation on Tuesday, March 28.

P?lease enter the Capitol Visitor Center at the 1st Street entrance. "Check-in" is at the Senate Appointments Desk, near the Gift Shop. This visit provides and opportunity for Delaware's local leaders to present their federal legislative priorities and express any concerns to Senators Carper and Coons, and Congresswoman Blunt Rochester. In advance of the visit, please email DLLG Executive Director Marcia Scott (msscott@udel.edu) with your federal legislative priorities and/or discussion topic(s) no later than noon on Friday, March 24, 2023.
Note: This event is open exclusively to local leaders within DLLG member towns, cities, and counties.
